Opportunity Submission Guidelines

Effective:

Last updated:

Every submission is reviewed by a human before it appears publicly. These are the requirements we check against, and what happens after you submit.

1. The opportunity must be real

Submit only opportunities that currently exist and are open to applicants. We verify the provider and the application destination before publishing.

2. Compensation must be accurate

State the actual amount or range, the currency, and how it is paid — cash, gift card, stipend, prize, hourly or per-session. If compensation is conditional on completing a screener or a full session, say so.

3. Eligibility must be clear

Say who can apply: location, age range where lawful, required experience, device or availability requirements, and any screening criteria.

4. A working application URL is required

The link must resolve to the provider's own application page or form. Shorteners, unrelated landing pages and links behind a login are not accepted.

5. Deadlines must be accurate

Provide the real closing date, or mark the listing ongoing if applications are accepted continuously. Listings past their deadline are labelled expired and their application CTA is disabled.

6. Provider identity is required

We need the organization running the opportunity — its name and website. Anonymous providers are not published.

7. No misleading claims

No exaggerated earnings, guaranteed-acceptance language, invented urgency, or implied endorsement by CoffeeMode.

8. No illegal or unsafe activity

We reject anything illegal, unsafe, exploitative, adult-oriented, or requiring payment from the participant.

9. Review process

Submissions enter a moderation queue. A reviewer checks the provider, the link, the compensation, the eligibility and the deadline. Most reviews are completed within a few business days.

10. Changes requested

If something is unclear we send the submission back with the specific change we need. You can update and resubmit from your submissions dashboard.

11. Rejection and removal

We may reject a submission or remove a published listing at any time — for example when the provider cannot be verified, the link breaks, or the opportunity closes. Removal of a listing that carries paid featuring is handled under the Paid Featuring and Advertising Policy.

12. You must have permission to submit

By submitting, you confirm you have the right to share the content and the provider's details as presented.

13. Keep listings accurate

If you submitted a listing and its details change, tell us. Providers with an ongoing presence are expected to keep their listings current.
